D-8 before the first official race of this 1st Virtual Sailplane Grand Prix - World Final 2021 !
Jeroen grew up in a family of pilots and lived surrounded by gliders when he was a child. His parents were running the airfield's restaurant of Keiheuvel, and the choice to start gliding was quite logical ! He started flying in 2009 and won several Regional and Nationals competitions. He even finished on the podium at the EGC in Moravska Trebova (2017) in Standard Class with his LS8 "Lima Tango" ! He is also very familiar with Condor, as he regularly wins daily races on eSport competitions.
Jeroen finished 6th at the last WGC 2021 in Montluçon and he is currently listed at the 77th place in the ranking list.
Definitely an experienced pilot to watch out during this first ever worldwide eSport contest !
